Climatologically we are in the warmest period of the year, but as you step outside this morning you will notice it feels more like September than July! Expect another comfortable day but clouds will increase through the afternoon; however we should remain dry east of the Blue Ridge. Tomorrow brings more of an easterly wind flow which translates into more clouds than sun and this may hold temperatures back near 80 if not a touch above. Temperatures will climb a bit more Sunday with partly sunny skies. Other than some mountain storms the region remains dry throughout the weekend. Heat and humidity return next with the likelihood of daily afternoon showers and storms. Have a great day!
