The frontal boundary that has brought us widely scattered afternoon showers and storms the past few afternoons has slid a little farther east. With that being said, some *slightly drier air has slid into the region and hopefully you'll notice a bit of a drop in the humidity. Since the front is still in close vicinity, a stray late day t'shower is possible; however, most people will be dry.
The weekend looks pretty nice. Warm and mainly dry tomorrow. Maybe some early morning clouds due to an easterly wind, but partly to mostly sunny skies through the day with only a 20% chance of a t'shower, mainly west. Sunday brings a slightly higher risk of late days storms, as a powerful cold approaches the area. It'll be hot and more humid, too, with highs around 90 degrees. It'll turn quite breezy Monday and Tuesday, as the strong upper level trough approaches. Widely scattered strong to severe storms expected both days. Behind the front, noticeably cooler & less humid.
