Washington D.C. Weather: Bitter beginning but milder is making a comeback

Today:Mostly Sunny Not As Cold Highs: Low to Mid 30s Wind: S 5-10 mph Overnight:Partly Cloudy and Cold Lows: Mid 10s to Low 20s Wind: S 5 mph Tomorrow:Mix Clouds and Sun Seasonable (Sprinkle?) Highs: Mid 40s Wind: S 5 mph

High pressure overhead ensures another sun-filled day with temperatures not quite as cold in the low to mid 30s. By tomorrow, the high moves well off shore, and, southerly winds will begin to bring a noticeably warming trend through the weekend. Highs will reach the middle 40s tomorrow and near 50 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Another cold front will cross the area Sunday. However, it will not push far south before becoming stationary. With that boundary so close, a minor disturbance along the front could produce some light rain later Sunday into Monday. If enough cold air settles across the region, we may have a little light snow to start the new week. Stay warm and have a great day!
