What a gorgeous day it is shaping up to be. A little on the cool side one would even call it. Average temperature for this time of year is 87 degrees and we hit 89 yesterday. We will be lucky to make it out of the 70s this afternoon with high pressure edging in towards the East Coast. Blues skies and all sunshine. A little on the breezy side this afternoon with winds out of the northwest at 10 - 15 mph and some higher gusts running at about 20 mph. Winds will decrease through the evening leading to a very chilly night. Lows dropping to the 50s in spots with DC checking in right around 60 degrees. Sunshine returns tomorrow with highs once again right around that 80 degree mark. A few more clouds push in on Friday but temperatures remain in the lower 80s and stay in the lower 80s through the remainder of the weekend. Clouds on the increase through the weekend starting on Saturday. A chance of rain on Saturday but a better chance of rain and storms on Sunday with moisture rolling up the spine of the Appalachian Mountains.
