This beautiful day will soon to come to an end as clouds increase, winds increase and wind chills decrease. A wind chill advisory has been issued for the Shenandoah Valley, Eastern West Virginia Panhandle and counties in Northern Maryland from 9 PM tonight through 9 AM tomorrow with wind chills dropping below zero in that times frame.{ } A cold front will sweep through the region tonight creating a chance for some flurries. Wind chills will slip into the single digits tonight and teeter around 0 for some locations through the brisk day tomorrow. Sunshine returns tomorrow with a ridge of high pressure briefly building into the region but that will soon come to an end as we head into the weekend. Another piece of energy will slide across the area on Saturday bringing a chance for some light snow showers, some clouds leave a dusting on the ground before it is all said and done. Temperatures for the weekend will tap out in the lower to mid 30s. Expect some sunshine on Sunday but more clouds on Monday as temperatures drop through the day.
