The area of high pressure that gave us the beautiful weather conditions yesterday and today is on the way out and a warm front is on the way in. Computer models continue to stall the warm fronts movement over the next 36 hours. That will mean a return to the all-too-familiar “ unsettled weather pattern” so often see this summer.
What is an “unsettled weather pattern? For the next 4 days it will be partly to mostly cloudy, warm but not hot…and muggy. There will be daily chances of showers and thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms will become more likely on Friday and perhaps into Saturday as a cold front arrives with clearing skies and cooler and drier air. As the week progresses we will get a better handling on the timing of the cold front because that will be the determining factor in what the weather will be like for this upcoming weekend.
