A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until late tonight for the entire D.C. area.
Expect partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies with showers and storms likely this afternoon and evening. Storms may be strong to severe and also have the potential to produce flash flooding. Highs should reach around 90 degrees. Showers and storms will be likely before midnight, then showers will be possible through tomorrow morning along with some breezy northerly winds. Friday will feature morning clouds and a few passing showers mainly east along with breezy winds. By the afternoon, skies should begin to clear and high temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s along with lower levels of humidity. Saturday and Sunday will be nice, with highs in the mid 80s Saturday and upper 80s Sunday.
