Today’s line of heavy to severe thunderstorms that stretched from NYC to Florida is something we do not often see in February. Rather, this pattern is more reminiscent of late April or early May. High pressure will continue to rebuild across the region with clear skies in the forecast tonight.
Tomorrow will be beautiful…simply stated. Partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s will be commonplace. Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures will return on Sunday. But later Sunday afternoon or evening, as the next cold front approaches, look for increasing cloudiness and the chance of scattered showers. Colder air will return to the area next week. And by the end of next week, even colder air may overspread the region.
