WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect until noon. Snow is beginning to fall now and should end by 10 am with a total accumulation between 1 and 2 inches, locally up to 3 inches, especially south of DC. With temperatures in the upper 20s, the snow can stick… unlike yesterday morning, when a lot of the snow melted upon falling. So be cautious as you make your way around this morning. By afternoon sunshine returns and despite cooler temperatures in the mid 30s we will see some melting and the afternoon commute should be A-OK. Sunny, breezy and cool conditions are in store for tomorrow with dry conditions yet chillier air for the end of the week. A sprinkle or flurry cannot be ruled out for the weekend, but overall it should be dry. Have a great weekend!
