Keep thanking that high pressure that is overhead because it is solely responsible for this terrific bonus weather that we are seeing here in July. High pressure directly overhead bringing us a light northerly flow to the DC region. It will start to slip off the coast as we head into Wednesday upping our humidity and giving us a few more clouds. A piece of energy will float through on Wednesday increasing our chances for some afternoon storms. A better chance for some scattered storms comes on Thursday as a frontal system nears the area. Once that front clear, back to low humidity levels on Friday and Saturday.
