High pressure off the coast will continue to pump in a nice warm humid airmass over the region for the next days. Temperatures will be reminiscent of summer, moving into the lower to mid 90s. Wednesday looks to be the hottest day of the week as heat indices approach the upper 90s. Sunshine reigns for the next few days as well before more clouds move in on Thursday ahead of a cold front. A chance for showers and storms on Wednesday afternoon and through the day on Thursday. Behind the cold front, temperatures drop off behind the front for Friday and Saturday with temperatures slipping into the lower to mid 70s with less humidity.
