Washington D.C. Forecast: Fall is Just Around the Corner!
High pressure building over the area through the day today bringing sunshine and also bringing calmer winds as we continue through the afternoon hours. A few clouds build into the region today, however, it will still be downright chilly with most temperatures falling through the 40s while the city-centers stick right around that 50 degree mark. Clouds continue to move in through the day tomorrow as another weak cold front approaches the area from the west. This could trigger another round of very light showers/isolated sprinkles for Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. High pressure returns for Sunday and into the first part of next week bringing sunshine back to the forecast. Temperatures on Sunday, slightly cooler-ending up in the mid 60s with a breeze from time to time. By Tuesday, yet another cold front moves through. Not calling for any precip with this passage, just much cooler conditions behind the front as we head into the middle and end of next week. It will be some of the coolest air we have experienced since last April with daytime highs not getting out of the 50s!
