Washington D.C. Forecast: A stretch of chilly days and cold nights ahead

An area of low pressure is developing well south of D.C. along the cold front that passed through earlier today. That could bring a few showers overnight south and east of Washington.{ }At the same time, an upper level disturbance{ }is moving across Indiana and Ohio.. As it moves thru the mid-Atlantic tomorrow morning it could produce a few sprinkles or showers.{ }The showers, if any, will be light and scattered. { }Everything should be out of the area by tomorrow afternoon and skies should start to clear a bit.

Another disturbance could move through the area on Thursday creating periods of clouds and a few gusty breezes and colder temperatures. High pressure will build across the mid-Atlantic on Friday and into the weekend. This will create a lot of sunshine but below average temperatures.
