Turned out to be a beautiful Friday, as promised. Plenty of sunshine, slightly cooler than average temperatures and an occasional breeze. Mostly clear skies around the region tonight with chilly temperatureslower 40s by morning in many outlying areas, near 50 in downtown Washington.
Another quick moving disturbance will increase the cloud cover tomorrow. And there could be a few light showers during the afternoon as the system approaches but the showers will be most likely north and west of Washington. Skies will rapidly clear for Sunday and remain mostly sunny through Monday. Partly cloudy skies are forecast on Tuesday before the chilliest cold front in 6 months drops temperatures throughout the area.
