High pressure will move off the east coast and a disturbance will steer towards the D.C. area today. Clouds have already begun to stream into the region and more clouds can be expected by the afternoon. Temperatures will be near average in the upper 50s. Tonight, showers will become likely around bedtime and will continue to be possible through the early morning hours prior to sunrise. Lows will be in the 40s.
Saturday will feature mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s. A warm front will move through the region Saturday night making for a potentially foggy start Sunday morning, we'll keep you updated on that this weekend. Sunday will be mostly cloudy but warmer with highs in the mid 60s. A cold front will bring rain to the area Sunday night into Monday morning, but colder air doesn't slip into the area until Tuesday. Highs on Monday should reach the mid to upper 60s along with breezy winds by the afternoon.
