Sections of Oklahoma and Texas, some of which have already been badly damaged by severe storms, have been placed under a Tornado Watch by the National Weather Service.

The Tornado Watch covers portions of southern Oklahoma and parts of north and Central Texas. It runs through 8 p.m. Eastern.

The massive tornado that swept through Moore, Okla. on Monday, just south of Oklahoma City, killed at least 24 people. Tornadoes across other parts of Oklahoma and Kansas on Sunday evening caused damage as well.
