High pressure will set up shop for the next few days and provide sunny and fairly nice weather. Highs today will top out in the lower 50s. The sky remains clear tonight, as temperatures plummet into the low-mid 30s in town with 20s in suburbs by tomorrow morning. Expect a lot of sun Friday with seasonable highs in the mid 50s.
As a weak cold front passes to our north late tomorrow, a new area of high pressure will take control over the Northeast for the upcoming weekend. We will see lots of sun Saturday with seasonable highs in the low 50s. By Sunday, the high pressure area will slide east and we will have a southerly breeze. As a result, temperatures will rebound into the mid and upper 50s by the afternoon. The next chance of seeing any rainfall will not arrive until very late Monday or, more than likely, Tuesday with a slow-moving cold front. Until that happens, we will stay dry as we welcome in the new month of December which is actually the start of meteorological winter. Have a great day.
