Showers and storms continue to develop along and ahead of a strong approaching cold front. Showers and storms will gradually come to an end this afternoon, from west to east, with gradual clearing and cooling temperatures following the front. High pressure settles back into place to round out the week and sticks around through the weekend. Temperatures drop off into the upper 60s Friday but rebound back into the 70s over the weekend. The next storm system heads our way by early next week providing our next chance of rain.
