Tonight, temperatures will be a bit cooler than last night with lows in the 60s under mostly clear skies. High pressure will move off the east coast on Friday, changing winds to southerly and helping bring a bit more moisture back into the region. Highs should reach the mid to upper 80s.
Saturday, an area of low pressure will begin to move in from the west, but the majority of the day should be partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. If you are planning to be outdoors this weekend, Saturday will be your best bet. Saturday night into Sunday morning, showers and thunderstorms can be expected. This system may bring a few severe storms as well as some heavy rainfall to the area. Sunday will continue to experience the chance for showers and thunderstorms with highs in the mid 80s. Returning back to the work week on Monday, clouds are expected to hang around as well as a slight chance for a few showers.
