March fooled us, but April is starting on script

      Tonight: Cloudy, Chance of Showers

      Lows: 42-47 | Wind: SW 5-10

      Monday: Mostly Sunny, Still Cool

Mother Nature doled out her sunshine sparingly on Saturday and she looks to be even stingier today!{} Mostly cloudy skies will again be the theme of the day with relatively cool, but seasonable temperatures in the low to mid 60s.{} The high at Reagan National yesterday reached 64, making for yet another above average reading{}as an unrecognizable March came to an end.{} The average monthly temperature was 56.8, a full 10 degrees above the norm.{} In a month that often sizzled, there were ten 70 degree days and four in the 80s.

As a cold front approaches later today, look for the potential for showers in the overnight hours.{} A shift in the winds will usher in Monday as mostly sunny skies, but still cool readings in the low 60s are expected.{} Tuesday and Wednesday should be the mildest of the days leading up to Easter with highs near 70.{} Showers are possible late Tuesday into Wednesday.{} And while skies will be mostly sunny at week's end, the outlook is for temperatures in the cool lower 60s: that's exactly where we should be, but March has left us wanting more!{} Enoy your Sunday.
