Freezing Rain Advisory issued for D.C. area

(WJLA) - A Freezing Rain Advisory has been issued for the entire D.C. area. for Friday morning, though officials only expect less than a tenth of an inch of ice.

The National Weather Service says that freezing rain will likely mix with a bit of snow as a system moves through the Washington metro area.

The advisory runs between 3 and 9 a.m. Friday for areas in the immediate vicinity of Washington, but it starts at 11 p.m. for some areas north and west of town.
