Captivated by the wildly unpredictable phenomenon, David Hoadley sees these monster twisters as natural wonders.
While other people race to escape a monster twister, Hoadley heads right toward them.
Armed only with his video camera, a CB radio and enough laundry to last him a week, Hoadley hunts for the biggest twisters he can find.
Hoadley was right there for those deadly tornadoes a few weeks ago in Oklahoma.
His longtime friend and famed storm chaser, Tim Samaras, was also there.
Hoadley was less than a mile away from Samaras.
Samaras was found still strapped in his chase car. His son and colleague had been sucked out and tossed by the twister.
