      The front that caused the snowfall across the region is now moving offshore and taking the snow showers with it. A few flurries can’t be ruled out today with the breezy northwest winds but no additional accumulations expected. Temperatures will get up into the lower 30s today around DC, a little cooler to the west. Where temperatures are in the 30s, wind chills will be in the 20s—where temperatures are in the 20s (west), wind chills will be in the teens. Still windy tonight before winds calm during the overnight hours. Mostly clear tonight, temperatures fall to around 20 degrees. Expect clouds to increase through the day tomorrow. Winds will be lighter with highs remaining in the lower 30s. Mostly cloudy overnight as our next little system passes the region into Sunday morning. Could see another coating of snow (similar to today) on the ground by Sunday morning starting Saturday evening . A few flurries also possible through the day on Sunday. Highs move into the lower 40s, winds kick back up during Sunday afternoon. A few pieces of energy rotate through on Tuesday and Wednesday which could bring some more light snow showers to the area. Temperatures in the 40s from Tuesday through the end of the work week.
