A weak cold front will move across the mid-Atlantic overnight as temperatures dip to upper 20s and lower 30s. Skies will begin to clear by early morning as winds increase from the northwest. Highs Monday will be in the 40s.

Milder air will shift back to the region Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the middle to upper 50s. A cold front late Wednesday will drop temperatures slightly on Thursday. Showers may develop ahead of another system Friday and into the weekend, but the D.C. area is expected to stay on the "warm" side and anything falling from the sky will be in the form of drops, not flakes.
