      The strongest storms, associated with the cold front, continue to push east of the D.C. metro area.{} Stay updated via our Live Super Doppler through the rest of the afternoon, as showers taper off from west to east.{} Temperatures are already falling into the 60s and will continue to drop into the 40s and 50s overnight with gradual clearing.{} Sunshine returns tomorrow with highs barely reaching the 70 degree mark.

      The middle and end of the work week looks rather uncertain, as some computer guidance suggests a cut-off low developing off the coast, which could mean clouds and showers from Wednesday through Sunday.{} There is still high uncertainty with this forecast, so we'll continue to monitor it closely.{} Temperatures, after a hot stretch of days, will finally drop to more "fall-like" levels.
