      A major winter storm is now moving our of the Rockies and is spreading snow and rain{}across the Midwest{}{} Look at the areas in red now under a Blizzard Warning.{}{}{}


      The storm will pass well to our north so while no snow for DC, the trailing cold front will bring some needed rain to us late Some areas 1/2" to perhaps 1" rain.{} Thursday and Thursday night.{} By Friday cold air sweeps in and stays with us into the Christmas weekend.{} Meanwhile traveling to the Midwest the next couple of days be prepared for major delays and travel disruptions.
