Skies will clear overnight as gusty winds diminish and temperatures fall into the 20s to lower 30s. With high pressure overhead, Sunday will be sunny and cool. Clouds will increase Christmas Eve ahead of a weak system that will bring showers and possibly a few flakes of snow by evening. Christmas Day will be dry followed by a more potent system that may bring rain and a wintry mix to the mid-Atlantic by Wednesday.
