      After picking up between a quarter of an inch to a half of an inch of rain overnight, much of the{}wet weather{}has stayed south of the metro area this morning.{} Here's a gloomy look at our roof cam at WJLA in Rosslyn.{}{}

      Rosslyn, VA

      {}{}Good napping weather!{} As we head through the afternoon, another wave of rain{}will move into the area and will stick around through most of the night.{} We should pick up another 1/2" -3/4".{} The front that passed through yesterday has stalled to the south and energy will travel along that front to trigger more rain on and off through Wednesday morning.{} We should finally dry out Wednesday afternoon, but I think the clouds will persist.{} If we are lucky, a peek of sunshine is possible tomorrow afternoon. Best chances west.{} Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, but by Friday, things definitely look brighter.{}
