      Visibility slowly improved this morning after a very foggy start.{} A dense fog advisory expired at 9am, but this is what it looked like on our roof cam overlooking the Potomac at 10a this morning.{}{}{}{}

      {}Ample moisture is in place and as a cold front approaches from the West, it will trigger some showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon.{} The storms are not expected to be severe.{} We actually could use the rain.{}{}Washington, D.C. is down more{}than 8" since January 1st.{} The cold front{}will pass to our east overnight and we should see improved conditions tomorrow.{} Skies will become partly sunny for Tuesday and Wednesday with plentiful sunshine for the end of the week.{} Temperatures behind the front will be cooler, but still above average.{} Today's record high at Reagan National is 67 degrees.{} We will be close to that this afternoon.{} But, the rest of the week will have highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.{} Average high is 48.{}
