Today is day 5 of our latest heat wave.{ } One more day before relief arrives on Sunday.{ } More widespread showers and storms are expected tomorrow afternoon due to a cold front that is advancing near us. A few storms could cause strong wind gusts.

Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll get a clean sweep of the front and it will stall near us… enough to keep the chance of t-storms in the forecast into next week. At least temps will drop down to seasonal conditions by Sunday and most of next week.
