*** DENSE FOG ADVISORY FOR D.C. AREA UNTIL NOON SUNDAY ***
Areas of dense fog will develop during the overnight hours as temperatures settle into the 40s. The fog will gradually clear during the morning hours and with enough sunshine, Sunday high temperatures will jump to the middle 60s to lower 70s. Temperatures like this are usually found in April. Record setting highs may be tough to beat, they currently stand as follows: Reagan National Airport, 75° in 1932; Dulles International Airport, 69° in 2005 and 76° at BWI-Marshall in 1932.
Cooler temperatures are on the way. Clouds will increase Sunday night and showers will develop. Monday will still be mild for this time of year, but with highs in the 50s. Showers and colder air stay in the forecast Tuesday as highs struggle to rebound into the lower 40s.
