      A wintry mix held off for most of the commute this morning and only lasted for a short while. Streets have been fine as temps stayed above freezing.{} The rain held off long enough to catch some beautiful sunrise pictures. Thanks to Glynnis Morgan Dwelly in Leesburg, VA for this stunning shot.{}

      {}The rain is coming to an end this afternoon with little more than a brief shower/sprinkle through early evening. Skies will gradually clear behind the cold front tonight{} and Westerly winds will be howling up to 20mph.{} Winds will stay strong Wednesday with much colder temperatures.{} Highs will only make it into the upper 30s. But it will feel like temps in the 20s through much of the day.{} Think back to Sunday afternoon's weather for comparison.{} The rest of the week stays chilly and chances of precipitation return by Friday. The storm will be a big deal in the Midwest. Check out the forecast snowfall for them.{}

      Possible Snowfall Midwest Through Saturday

      {}Right now it looks like rain for us. Still a fair amount of uncertainty on timing and any freezing potential, but snowlovers need to seek out{}the Midwest for a good one for now. {}We'll regularly update our thoughts on that the rest of the week.{}
