Winds will ease slightly overnight as temperatures plummet to the upper 20s and lower 30s. A Freeze Watch has been issued for the District and surrounding counties, with the exception of southern Maryland. A Freeze Warning has been posted for western Maryland, Potomac Highlands and Shenandoah Valley. Frost will not be a problem due to winds.
