An area of high pressure will move off the Atlantic coast on Sunday allowing for winds to shift to the south. Highs will be in the lower to middle 60s with a few passing clouds. An area of low pressure will develop just to the northwest of DC on Monday bringing a chance for scattered showers and highs in the upper 60s. Another area of high pressure will build Tuesday allowing for another shot of super warm spring air. By Thursday, some may see highs approaching 80 degrees if not better. The record high for Thursday is 81 degrees set in 1990.
