High pressure will bring clear skies and less wind for the overnight hours. Temperatures will be the coldest so far this season, dropping into the teens to middle 20s. Clouds will increase during the day Monday with highs in the 40s. New Year's Eve will be dry and chilly followed by a chance for a few snow and rain showers on New Year's Day. Once again, this will be one of those "no big deal" kind of systems and should have little if any impact on travel conditions.

A quiet and somewhat settled weather pattern will remain in place for the rest of the week.
