This AfternoonSunny & Windy, Quite Cool Highs: 65-68 Wind: NW 15-25/G 30 mph Tonight:Mostly Clear & Cold, Still Breezy Lows: 35-46 Wind: NW 15-20/G 30 mph Sunday:Sunny, A Bit Milder, Breezy Highs: 68-73 Wind: NW 10-15/G 25 mph

With the weather pendulum swinging back once again to the chilly side, will an expected warmup at midweek{ }finally put an end to these seasonal gyrations?

The calendar may show that summer is about to begin, but the chill in the air this Saturday says otherwise!{ } With late morning temperatures in the low 50s and feeling even colder as winds gust to 30 mph,{ } jackets are more appropriate than shorts and swim trunks.{ } With{ } high pressure in place, look for sunny skies today but highs only in the upper 60s.{ } The gusty winds will make it feel even cooler.

But while it may be a chilly start, this Memorial day weekend will get progressively better and more comfortable.{ } While the winds will be slow to abate - and there are frost advisories out for{ }the Potomac Highlands tonight - sunshine will dominate through Monday and temperatures will gradually warm.{ } Highs near 70 on Sunday will improve to the mid 70s{ }by Monday.{ } Humidity levels will be low throughout the period.{ } Pool and ocean water{ }readings in the 50s and 60s should keep all but the bravest swimmers on shore this weekend.{ }{ }But the bracing water - and air - { }will start to warm this coming week with highs near 90 and sticky humidity levels back by Wednesday. So it will feel like Memorial Day should, just a few day late!{ } Enjoy your weekend.
