After this spring of our discontent, the season we've been long awaiting is finally at hand!{ } Yesterday's 67 degrees and abundant sunshine almost made us forget the cold and bluster of these past weeks.{ } With high pressure overhead, today will still be sunny, but somewhat cooler with highs in the mid 50s.{ } But with winds turning to the south overnight, tomorrow should see the mercury rise to the upper 60s.{ } And even with more clouds than sunshine likely for much of the coming week, daytime highs in the 70s will finally warm our hearts and brighten our spirits!{ } If the daytime highs on Tuesday and Wednesday reach the upper 70s -{ } and they might -{ } they would be the warmest readings since way back on October 23rd when we hit 78 at Reagan National.{ }

Some April showers are possible late tomorrow evening and again on Thursday and Friday, but they will do little to dampen our long overdue cases of spring fever!{ } Enjoy your weekend.
