With the time changing, robins returning, daffodil shoots popping up, and milder air on tap this weekend, some real relief from our winter weariness is at hand!{} Temperatures are already in the 50s across the area with some 60 degree readings likely by day's end.{} A cold front is poised to pass through our area later today, but the consequences should not be all that dire.{} Look for mostly cloudy skies overnight with a chance of showers{}as temperatures stay in the upper 30s.{} The only snow showers likely to fall{}would be on the western slopes of the Appalachians.{} Sunday is expected to start out cloudy, but skies should clear by afternoon.{} With northwesterly winds around 10 mph, Sunday will likely be a slightly cooler day with highs in the upper 40s.

The beginning of next week looks quite comfortable with highs on Monday & Tuesday around 60.{} A disturbance at midweek however will remind us that March can be a month for all seasons.{} Showers, colder temperatures and perhaps{}a wintry mix{}are likely on Wednesday. Chillier than normal readings will last through the end of{} the work week.{} Still, any lingering wintry weather will be looking over its shoulder at all the spring time actors ready to take the stage.{} Spring's official debut is March 20th.{} Enjoy your weekend.
