The remnants of a cold front will advance across the region this evening and may have just enough energy to pop an isolated shower or thunderstorm.
High pressure will build into the area over the next couple days with plenty of sunshine and unseasonably warm air. An approaching cold front will increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday. The cold front will be south of the area on Saturday but may remain close enough to act as a focus for scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for Sunday. The outlook for early next week remains unsettled…too early to know which computer model(s) may be on the right track.
