A warm front creeping northward through our area has aided in the areas of rain…with the heavy downpours…witnessed during the day. As we go through the evening and night time hours, there will be more areas or batches of rain approaching from the west and southwest. Later tonight a cold front will cross the region supporting more rain and isolated thunderstorms. Looking ahead to tomorrow, the first day of March and meteorological spring, we’ll enjoy lots of sunshine, a gusty breeze and well above average temperatures.
Partly sunny and pleasant weather is forecast for Friday. By Friday night, another cold front will approach the mountains and perhaps push a couple showers into our area. On Saturday, as the front crosses the region, more rain is likely….70% chance. Sunday will be partly sunny and cooler and we cannot rule out a sprinkle or two.
