An elongated area of low pressure continues over our area and was one of the leading causes of today’s rain. It will move only slightly tomorrow but will just enough to allow some clearing tonight and partly cloudy and hot conditions tomorrow. There will be a chance for isolated thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon in the hot, humid and still unstable air mass.

On Saturday, skies will be partly sunny until a strong cold front approaches during the afternoon. That front will likely produce more widespread showers and thunderstorms that will continue into Saturday night. By Sunday, a cooler and drier air mass will move into the region. We are forecasting delightful weather on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s to around 80 degrees.
