A gloomy Monday, but a little sunshine should pop out by day's end, especially in Northern Virginia.{} However, it will be a mild day with highs in the middle 50s. That's about 10 degrees above average.{} Our big focus this week will be the potential for two systems to threaten the area with snow.{} The first one arrives Wednesday.{} There is still quite a bit of uncertainty on the precipitation type and track of the low..{} I do think at least a wintry mix is possible.{} Here's a map from NOAA showing the probability of 1" or more of snow between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning.{} The second storm will arrive some time this weekend.{} That one looks more intense.{} Stay tuned to ABC7 for the latest on both.
