A gloomy Monday, but a little sunshine should pop out by day's end, especially in Northern Virginia.{ } However, it will be a mild day with highs in the middle 50s. That's about 10 degrees above average.{ } Our big focus this week will be the potential for two systems to threaten the area with snow.{ } The first one arrives Wednesday.{ } There is still quite a bit of uncertainty on the precipitation type and track of the low..{ } I do think at least a wintry mix is possible.{ } Here's a map from NOAA showing the probability of 1" or more of snow between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning.{ } The second storm will arrive some time this weekend.{ } That one looks more intense.{ } Stay tuned to ABC7 for the latest on both.
