That pesky and persistent area of low pressure across New England is still sending chilly air and abundant cloud cover into our area. Over the next 48 hours it will slowly drift away from the northeast coast and that in turn will allow high pressure to build into our area. Temperatures will slowly climb for the next several daysin fact, we will be back in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees over the weekend.
Until that northern low gets out of the picture, it will still facilitate little pieces of energy, rotating around that low, to interact with a developing southeasterly wind. The result will be continuing chances for isolated to scattered showers and even a rumble of thunder now and then. More stable and warmer weather will develop on Friday. And as I just mentioned, much warmer temperatures will be developing just in time for the weekend.
