The area of high pressure that has provided crystal clear weather will move out of the area tomorrow. There will be a steady increase in cloudiness during tomorrow afternoon. It will be a very pleasant outdoor weather day with highs in the lower 50s. On Sunday, a warm front will cross the region. This will result in mostly cloudy skies and a 40% chance of showers.

Computer models have been rather insistent on a solution that shows the front becoming stationary in the mid-Atlantic while an area of low pressure develops along the front. This will boost temperatures well into the 50s but it will also keep skies cloudy and keep a good chance of rain in the area, at, times, straight through Tuesday. A cold front is simulated to pass through the area next Thursday bring significantly colder weather to the region.
