D.C. Weather Forecast: Calendar says spring but weather disagrees

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Snow Showers Late

      Lows: 30s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

Thursday: Morning Snow Showers, Then Partly Sunny, Cold and Breezy

      Highs: Around 40 | Wind: N 10-20 m.p.h.

      Friday: Partly Cloudy and Cool

      Highs: Upper 40s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

A cold front will pass through the region overnight and into the early morning hours. Areas of light snow or flurries are possible with the front but significant accumulations are not expected. During the day tomorrow, it will feel like the middle of winter. A strong, upper level disturbance will cross the area and produce partly to mostly cloudy skies, gusty winds, unseasonably cold temperatures and pockets of snow flurries.

High pressure will return sunny but seasonably chilly conditions to the region on Friday and Saturday and into Sunday afternoon. Beyond that time-frame, all bets are off. Computer models continue to forecast a significant area of low pressure that could bring rain, snow or a wintry mix to the area Sunday night and Monday.
