A litle ice but no storm
This Evening: High Clouds, Chilly
Temperatures: 35-40 | Wind: S 5-10
Overnight: Rain Developing some iciness west and north by dawn
Lows: 31-36 | Precipitation: only 0.02-0.05 inches
Saturday: Freezing rain west turning to chilly rain and ending by early afternoon
Highs: 33-39 | Rain: 0.1-0.3 inches
Sunshine and high clouds are giving way to cloudy skies. A weak storm will move near us Saturday and spread some chilly rain over the area late tonight into midday Saturday. The colder air to the west means there could be a period of some light freezing rain, but certainly not a major icing event. By mid-morning all areas should be slightly above freezing so Saturday will be chilly, wet and damp with light rain tapering off by 1 to 3 p.m. It will be partly sunny Sunday and in the 40s.
The seven-day TBD weather model is showing snow for next Wednesday and Thursday, but right now the threat of any major storm is low. I think a 10 percent chance is about right. This seven-day forecast is a pure computer simulation of our future weather, so use it carefully and rely on our forecast and our own seven-day graphic you can see below.
