A cold night Hey it's January

Overnight: Clearing, Cold, Diminishing Winds

Lows: 22-28 | Wind: NW 10-20 diminishing

Thursday: Sunny Early Increasing Clouds PM

Highs: 40-45 | Wind: S 5-10

Tomorrow Night: Cloudy, Cold

Lows: 28-33 | Snow: Any flurries NBD

The gusty cold winds have diminished. High pressure over us tonight and winds will diminish rapidly and it will be a clear cold night.{ } Venus still bright in the west. Weather systems continue zip along with weak storms tracking to our north.{ } These will bring in some clouds but right now only a very slight chance of any dreaded "wintry weather" and that won't be until Friday night and at that to the west of DC.{ } A risk of some freezing rain and/or sleet in The Shenandoah Valley Saturday morning.{ } But once again any storm with moisture will move to our west so Saturday is the next real chance for precipitation . . .and again snow lovers afraid it will be rain Saturday afternoon .{ } BTW wind chills in the Dakotas today -25 and lower
