Three stations on the Red line will completely shut down starting at 10 p.m. Friday as Metro begins another weekend of track work.
The Takoma, Brookland and Rhode Island Avenue stations will be closed through the weekend. Fort Totten will also not be served by the Red line, but Green and Yellow line trains will still stop at the Northeast D.C. stations.
Shuttle buses will run between the NoMa-Gallaudet and Silver Spring stations.
Blue and Orange line trains will also only run every 16 minutes while work is done between the McPherson Square and Smithsonian stations.
