Bay Bridge traffic on Saturday due to motorcycle benefit event

Heavy Saturday morning traffic is expected at Bay Bridge due to the Anne Arundel County Burn Foundation Motorcycle Ride.

Motorists should expect high traffic volumes on June 15 at approximately 10 a.m. when the group is expected to reach the bridge. Approximately 1,200 motorcyclists will be participating in the benefit event.

Weather permitting, the Maryland Transportation Authority will implement two-way traffic operations to help alleviate delays and encourages motorists to share the road and to travel off-peak is possible. The best times to travel are Friday after 10 p.m., Saturday before 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m., and Sunday before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m.
