Report: Former Redskins DL Chris Baker signs with Tampa Bay Buccaneers
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Washington Redskins free agent defensive lineman Chris Baker on Thursday, according to ESPN.
ESPN reports Baker's contract will be a three-year $15.75 million (maximum $18.75 million with incentives), $9 million guaranteed.
Baker finished the 2016 season with 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, according to ESPN.
ESPN reports Baker will likely play defensive tackle for the Bucs, after playing as a defensive end for the Redskins.
Earlier Thursday, the Bucs acquired another former Redskin in receiver DeSean Jackson.
